Hello! My name is Amira and I am nine years old. I live in Erfurt with my mum, my dad and my little brother Jonas. Jonas is five. We have got a cat. Her name is Luna and she is grey. My favourite subject at school is English. In my free time I play the guitar and I ride my bike. I can't swim, but I can dance.

Hedgehogs are small brown animals. They have got a lot of spines on their back. In the daytime they sleep under bushes or leaves. At night they go out and look for food. They eat insects, worms and snails. In autumn hedgehogs eat a lot. Then they sleep all winter. In spring they wake up again. Hedgehogs can swim and climb! Please don't give them milk. It makes them ill.
