Type I (real)
For a real or likely condition: if-clause in the present simple, main clause with will + infinitive.
If it rains, I will stay home.Type II (unreal present)
For something unreal or unlikely now: if-clause in the past simple, main clause with would + infinitive. Use 'were' for all persons.
If I were rich, I would travel the world.Type III (unreal past)
For an unreal situation in the past: if-clause in the past perfect, main clause with would have + past participle.
If she had studied, she would have passed.
